Martin's Poem Books

These books are a collection of comedy poems with illustrations created by the author Martin Hollister.

 

He says: "I believe that my funny Poetry is suitable to most age groups. The style is a little Milligan-esk and follows a tradition of comedy silly nonsense. The fresh and naive illustrations are designed to add humour and a sence of something novel and new."

COMEDY POETRY WITH ILLUSTRATIONS

To get the Biggest Giggle Factor from my comedy poetry, I have accompanied each poem with a water colour drawing, which in itself has a comedic message to yield. Humour is the stuff of life in my opinion being able to laugh at our own failings is good for us all. A full narration of each poem is available on the CD disc and creates, along with the Illustrations a comedy image package. I do hope that you enjoy my work, I have enjoyed immensely, writing, drawing the illustrations and narrating all my poem verse. A poem can be a very good way to tell a funny story, a Joke or to relay a humorous event, plus a little sarcasm at times.
